After many of us have written emails and letters to our politicians and manufacturers for years, not one of us has managed to convince them stop islam forcing manufacturers to certify our food and products halal. So we have come up with a new strategy. But before I explain, we need to know a little bit about halal certification and why we need to be worried about it.
Just how much is the Islamic halal market worth each year?
The latest figure being bandied around says $US700 billion. But a little digging reveals that the figure might actually be much higher. This figure comes from a Monash University report: http://www.monash.edu.au/monashmag/articles/february2014/halal-guide-to-consumer-faith.html#.UwRtxoXuyce
Firstly, we need to understand that halal certification has become a many tentacled octopus, reaching into virtually every area of our lives. Farmers are being forced to pay a halal certification fee for the grass the animals eat. Then a fee for the animals to be transported in halal certified vehicles. In many cases, even the drivers must be muslims now, as they are the only ones who are trusted by muslims to maintain the halal conditions. Slaughter houses pay. Packaging companies pay. Food processors pay. And finally, WE pay.
We learned on October 23rd 2013 that:
One abattoir has revealed that it has been paying $27,000 a MONTH! Considering there are at least 267 abattoirs around Australia, that amounts to a whopping $7,209,000 A MONTH! Even if only 50% of them are paying for halal certification, (we believe the number is closer to 80%), that is still just over three million dollars paid by consumers for nothing!
That is just one industry. But what about all the others that are paying? We know that some businesses pay as little as $700 a month, while others pay tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars. And that is just Australia.
Not Just Food
We also know that halal does not apply just to food. This report explains that halal covers every aspect of a muslim’s life, the food and services they consume…..everything!
Of course, when you read this article, don’t be fooled by the honeyed words it uses. The fact is, halal processes are cruel and inhumane towards animals. This video shows the suffering these animals experience in their last minutes alive. Yet, where are the animal rights groups protesting against this needless cruelty? Where is the RSPCA? Where is PETA? Why aren’t they joining our voices and protesting against this barbaric treatment of animals already stressed by the process?
Where does the money go?
Muslims are bound by the koran to donate a portion of their income, up to 5%, to a mosque or other islamic “charity” organization. This applies to all muslims, including businesses and their employees. But who are these islamic charities?
We have learned that much of this money is donated to groups like Hamas, The Muslim Brotherhood, The Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA), and many others….and almost all of them have ties to terrorist groups.
Mosques collect much of the money and then donate it to the charities. We also know that once a mosque grows beyond a certain number of members it is much more likely to be involved in preaching and supporting terrorism. Police raids in many nations have found terrorist related documents and equipment. This information was provided by Gavin Boby, a tireless UK lawyer crusading against mosque development applications.
Given the figures we have seen in this article the annual income figure spoken by many people around the world of $US700 Billion dollars does not sound unreasonable.
But how much is that in figures we can try to understand?
How big is a trillion on paper?
A million is equal to a thousand thousands (1,000 x 1,000).
A billion is equal to a thousand millions (1,000 x 1,000,000).
If you stack $1 bills one on top of the other, then:
1 million dollars = 4 inches high
1 billion dollars = 364 feet high — $700 Billion = 254,800 feet high
Note that this is a STACK, not laid end-to-end.
To put it into terms that we can easily envisage, if we were to stack all those one dollar bills in a single pile it would be as high as 93 Burj Khalifa buildings, the tallest building in the world standing at 2,716.5 feet.
It’s easy to see why there is more than enough money to pay for the many terrorist attacks we are seeing around the world today.
So, is it any wonder that as we are waking up to this gigantic scam that so many people are calling for an end to halal certification?
But our politicians and the companies are not listening. So here’s what we believe will get their attention:
BUY HALAL AND RETURN SUGGESTION
CADBURY’S CHOCOLATE, ESPECIALLY THEIR EASTER EGGS!
PLEASE SHARE EVERYWHERE!
We are asking consumers around the world to buy and return Cadbury’s Chocolate whenever you go shopping.
After you buy a halal certified product, ake it home and tear open the OUTER wrapping a bit, but not the inner foil, and then return it to the shop for a refund. We recommend saying that you found out Cadbury’s Chocolates are blessed by an islamic imam and you cannot eat food blessed by a false god. If you are a Christian, you can say that the Bible forbids you to eat food blessed by a false god.
Under the law, merchants MUST refund your money….and because the packaging is damaged they can’t put it back on the shelf to re-sell. They will be forced to return it to Cadbury’s Chocolate for a refund.
Of course, don’t do this at the same store each time. So whenever you go shopping at a new store, buy a halal product and return it for a refund.
Let’s make sure Cadbury’s Chocolate gets the message every day. If million of people around the world are returning a Cadbury’s Chocolate product every day, the company will soon get the message.
To ensure you make the point even more strongly buy some stickers and put one on the sales docket when you return the product. Let them know that WE DO NOT WANT HALAL CERTIFIED FOOD!
Buy your stickers here: http://www.restoreaustralia.org.au/beware-halal/
We will continue to return halal products every day until Kraft Foods, the owners of Cadbury’s Chocolates, stops certifying their products halal. Help us make a statement they cannot ignore.
